AREAS OF PRACTICE
Don Eilbott focuses his practice in two areas that would not appear to be related and in fact they are not. The areas of social security and real estate have little similarity. For Don, they are products of his background, training and experience.
In 1974 when Don began the practice of law, one of his first cases was a Social Security Disability case. He found it to be rewarding. It was an opportunity to help someone that was truly in need. Beginning then and continuing into the present, Don has found personal and professional satisfaction providing representation to persons seeking Social Security Disability benefits. Social Security Disability claimants are certainly in need. In most instances, they have not worked in many months, have significant physical or mental impairments and have been rejected by the Social Security Administration. The claimants have no other support system; no place else they can turn for assistance or help. Their Social Security Disability application is the one hope they have.
Similarly, he became part of a group that owned a title insurance and real estate closing agency. From that start, the group ultimately founded the only domestic title insurance underwriter in Arkansas. During the following years, Don has been a part of the growth of the title insurance industry in Arkansas. He has represented title insurance underwriters and agents throughout Arkansas, and has been involved in some of the major litigation which has shaped the title insurance and real estate industry in Arkansas.
For a period, Don served as the Chief Executive Officer of a title insurance agent and also two title insurance underwriters operating in 11 states. As a result of this varied experience, Don is singly qualified to provide representation to persons across the spectrum of the real estate process.
Don is a frequent lecturer for the Arkansas Land Title Association and other organizations for attorneys, title insurance agents and other real estate professionals.
